The Medicinal Properties of MAMA CADELA (Brosimum gaudichaudii) :
The active substances found in this plant are a furocumarin (a photo-sensitizer) known as "bergaptene" (one of the most commonly used photosensitizing  agents in the treatment of leucodermas such as : achromia, vitiligo and other skin disorders). This substance is present in the roots,  bark and in the unripe fruit.

***Dischromia (Dischromia is medical term for any anomaly or change in the skin’s pigmentation). It is classified into em hipochromia (reduced pigmentation when compared to the normal skin color) and hiperchromia (incrased or different and generally reddened pigmentation).

 

This is a symptom that is common to many diseases, the most serious of which is skin cancer, but also including acne, blackheads, freckles, scars, and burns, among others. 
 
The etiology (cause or origin) can be diverse and include factors such poor dietary habits, sleep irregularities, insomnia, a variety of epithelial (skin) damage, prolonged excessive exposure to sunlight, natural aging and harmful chemicals.
